The AKC's Meet the Breeds was part of Westminster Show events in New York City on Saturday, February 13, 2016. The IWCA booth was a huge hit with the crowds. As always, the wolfhounds caused traffic jams, as adults and children all wanted to greet the hounds. We had five wolfhounds ranging in age from twelve months to five years old. Those hounds representing our breed included certified Therapy Dogs, Racing Champions, Obedience and Breed Champions. Thanks to members of IWCA, IWANE, IWADV and IWCC - Celeste Atkinson with Rigel, Angie Bixler with Gewels, Diane Camel and Ken Neff with Ivar, Joni Light, Margie Milne, Donna Smith with Scorch and RT, Briget Wandruff, Alissa Muffley and Roni Neinstedt with Magic, plus a terrific 'crew' who created and sent the booth decorations from Florida - Gordon Brown, Beth Diaz and Helen Rohan.
