It’s that time again! Time to start considering who is deserving of the AKC Outstanding Sportsmanship award. We have had some wonderful people receive this award in the past and now is the time to nominate another deserving member.
This award honors those individuals who deserve special recognition in that they have made a difference in the sport of purebred dogs, that they follow the AKC Code of Sportsmanship, and have been an active and valued member of the Irish Wolfhound Club of America. Those that send nominations must also be members of the IWCA. Please send a short paragraph of why you feel this person deserves the award. The person with the most nominations will receive the award at the 2022 IWCA National Specialty Show. Send nominations to Courtney Smith at avaloniaiw@att.net.
