Our TX rescue group worked together at the Houston SPCA both Saturday and Sunday this past weekend, as they did the weekend before. I can’t give them enough praise for the hours they are putting in at the SPCA. Along with, for some of them, the long drive back and forth just to get there.
Mainly, the hounds were vet checked, evaluated, identified, and tagged with color-coded collars to make up the individual groups. The west and east coast transports will happen shortly, as long as the hounds stay healthy. On Sunday, seven hounds were released to our TX rescue. So, at least we have gotten started. Slowly we are getting there….but still have a long way to go.
